TMSA Future Forward Volunteer Program

The TMSA Future Forward Volunteer Program gives member companies the unique opportunity to send junior team members to the TMSA  ELEVATE Conference with a complimentary registration in exchange for supporting event operations. 

This program, designed for emerging professionals, combines hands-on experience with networking and professional growth. Participants will assist with key tasks, from registration support to session setup, gaining behind-the-scenes insight into conference management while building industry connections. 

Participants must be a member of either the Transportation Marketing & Sales Association or the Next Generation in Trucking Association.

TMSA will be selecting five (5) Future Forward Volunteers for the 2025 ELEVATE Conference, being held June 8-10, 2025 in Austin, Texas.

Applications are open through Friday, March 14, 2025 and will notify those selected by Monday, March 31st.

Program Benefits:

  • Complimentary ELEVATE Registration: Volunteers attend sessions and networking events, enjoying full access to ELEVATE’s learning opportunities.
  • Industry Exposure: Volunteers interact with industry leaders and peers, gaining valuable connections and mentorship opportunities.
  • Professional Development: On top of the marketing and sales educational sessions and networking opportunities, junior team members also acquire practical event experience. 
  • Free T-shirts: Volunteers will each receive two (2) t-shirts to wear Monday and Tuesday of conference specially designed for Future Forward Volunteers. 


Responsibilities:

  • Volunteers will be expected to report to TMSA HQ the morning of June 8th to help set up for the show, including stuffing swag bags and assembling name badges.
  • Assist TMSA HQ with the Registration Table, especially during peak registration time on Sunday afternoon and early Monday morning.
  • Help direct attendees to proper breakout rooms throughout conference
  • Assist TMSA Recognition Committee in setting up Awards Banquet on Monday night
  • Attend a pre-conference meeting in the weeks leading into the show

This program is open to junior team members from current TMSA member companies or Next Generation in Trucking Association companies who are eager to grow their network, deepen their industry understanding, and contribute actively to the success of ELEVATE. 


*Note, while TMSA is covering the registration for participants, the member company will be responsible for travel costs of their Ambassadors.
